What is your work & design process?
Starting with my research, I draw a great deal of inspiration from Brazil’s tropical nature. My creative process usually begins with this tropical atmosphere, and from there I develop my ideas, seeking to blend references from my experience of living in a tropical country with styles and aesthetics that appeal to me.
Where do you find your design inspiration?
I draw inspiration from nature and the tropical atmosphere, exploring references from botanical art, naïve art and folk art. I also find inspiration in museums, in artists with whom I identify, and in the everyday scenes that form part of my life.
