A bordered floral composed on a mirrored axis, where I framed dense paisley-flower garlands around horizontal bands of red, magenta and indigo. I drew the bouquets to meet their twins down the centre so the design has a poised, symmetrical structure, which gives it the formal feel of a woven shawl end.
