Nate Duval Crazy Chaotic Harmony graphics

Nate Duval’s quantity, quality and variety of work is incredible, one man creates all this great stuff. These are gig posters, band t-shirts and album covers of the highest order. We love the crazy and often chaotic, almost psychedelic patterns and textures that he crafts into his work and the freaky amalgamation of humans and animals. It’s beautiful to see such consistent quality throughout this Massachusetts-based illustrator and designer’s work. To see his drawings before he’s coloured them up check out his Tumblr, for everything else get yourself over to nateduval.com

Patternbank have already highlighted Michael Chase’s amazing photographic abstract art in our ‘Beautiful Decay’ post but after seeing some of his recent work we wanted to highlight more. Chase’s new photographic experimental studies are great inspiration for our Spring/Summer 2013 colour trend forecast ‘Vibrant Glow’. With acid candy tones and pastel combinations these new textural photos are a great resource for print and pattern inspiration. Chad Hagen – Playful Geometrics inspiration

Playful geometrics mimicking information graphs come with a hint of nostalgia in Chad Hagen’s work – yet everything still feels very contemporary, clean cut and fresh. Alongside working with geometric shapes to create these pieces monochromatic disjointed imagery, typography and precise linear illustrations highlight his real attention for detail.
