Xochi Solis Molecular Collage inspiration

Wonderful mixed-media collage here by Austin, Texas based artist Xochi Solis. In addition to her studio practice, she is also the Director of Events and Public Programming at the Visual Arts Center, University of Texas at Austin. We love the way she builds up the different elements of mixed-media, one on top of each other to resemble some sort of layered molecular structure. Find more of her captivating work on her website.

Sebastian Wahl Sacred Geometry and Shamanic Visions inspiration

Sebastian Wahl uses hand made papers that he has been collecting since as early as 1992. Searching, collecting and cataloguing is a large part of the process that he loves. He meticulously isolates the images from their original reality by cutting them out using an x-acto knife and then injects them into a new reality with the help of glue, he then places the selected images between multiple layers of clear resin building a collage time capsule in 3-dimensions. Check out more Kaleidoscopic creations on his website.

Sohan Qadri Yogi, Poet and Painter inspiration

Sohan Qadri was a yogi, poet and a painter from Punjab, India. He began his quest for his true self through Tantric yoga and spent long periods of time silently meditating in remote temples in the Himalayas and Tibet. His paintings result from states of deep meditation, and are informed by the colours of India: luminous, dye-infused works on meticulously serrated paper.
