Sebastian Wahl Sacred Geometry and Shamanic Visions inspiration

Sebastian Wahl uses hand made papers that he has been collecting since as early as 1992. Searching, collecting and cataloguing is a large part of the process that he loves. He meticulously isolates the images from their original reality by cutting them out using an x-acto knife and then injects them into a new reality with the help of glue, he then places the selected images between multiple layers of clear resin building a collage time capsule in 3-dimensions. Check out more Kaleidoscopic creations on his website.

FRGMNTS Lost Cultures, Relics and Landscapes by Matthew Craven inspiration

Matthew Craven uses historical images as a backdrop for a more abstract form of storytelling. Images from lost cultures, relics and landscapes, both well-known and extremely ambiguous create the patterns within his work. These arrangements highlight shape and composition rather than historical accuracy, solidifying their participation in a completely unique myth. Check more of his fine work on his website. Earlier this year, FRGMNTS was shown at Gallery Hijinks in San Francisco, go check their website for lots more inspiring Artists.
