This collection of Graphic Collages by Sarah Mazzetti caught our eye this week. The Bologna based artist who’s better known for her bold and vibrant poster designs, was trained in Communication (Bachelors Degree) at Bologna University and in Illustration at IED Milan. She’s been freelance since 2009 and has collaborated with magazines such as GQ Italy and L’Europeo. Mazzetti has since joined forces with Guilia Sagramola and Cristina Dizioni to form Tiara, an illustration and comics label with an enviable list of clients, including the creatively inspiring magazine Anorak. Agata Dudek graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2010 and has already completed a wide range of stunning design projects including Magazine Illustration, Posters, Book Covers, Street Art and Toy Design. Martin ONeill   Cut It Out Graphics graphics

Patternbank offer graphic inspiration in the form of Martin O’Neil, with his old school approach to graphic design and illustration. For 15 years O’Neill has been experimenting with image making. Collage, silkscreen print, photography and paint are skillfully collated to produce his instantly identifiable style. With a huge list of clients ranging from Nissan to Conran, O’Neill was shortlisted for the V&A Illustration awards 2012, for his work in the novel ‘The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat.’ Take a peek at his amazing studio based on the South East coast of England, housing a trove of found objects and graphical treasures.

Patternbank have spotted Ed Fairburn’s amazing map based portraits on a handful of inspirational blogs recently and thought we’d share. Based in Cardiff, illustrator Ed Fairburn creates portraits using old vintage maps to bring his unique artworks to life. He explains ‘ I paint, draw and construct using a flexible range of tangible media across a wide range of surfaces and contexts, allowing my practice to exist across various disciplines.’ Patternbank love the way Ed’s illustrations transpire from intricate road networks and structured landscapes. Alexandros Vasmoulakis   Super Sized Street Art graphics

Patternbank loves the awe-inspiring street art by Greek illustrator and artist Alexandros Vasmoulakis. We were drawn to his fresh contemporary take on street art. Graffiti was the  foundation for his progression into painting, and after studying at the Athens School of Fine Arts, Vasmoulakis worked as an illustrator with advertising companies producing ad murals. Carhartt   Graphic Tees Spring/Summer 2013 graphics

With the Spring/Summer season just around the corner, keeping track of new and emerging graphic tee shirt trends is key. Patternbank spotted these graphic delights by street-wear brand Carhartt. They have just released a batch of 70 strong tee shirt styles with a real mix of inspiring graphic. The S/S13 collection sees a strong visual play on twisted retro sports graphics, outdoor hunting themes and comic book inspired prints. Guest artists called upon these season included: David Lanaspa, Doubleday & Cartwright, Rise Above, Typeholics, Playarea, Will Kemp, and Sergey Shapiro. Check out the full range at Carharrt website.

Mary Kate McDevitt is a letterer and illustrator living and working in Portland, OR. Mary Kate graduated from Tyler School of Art in 2007 with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. She worked as a designer at a studio in Lancaster, PA for 2 years. In 2010, Mary Kate moved out to Portland, OR to pursue a career as a freelance illustrator and artist and we’re glad she did, as she is creating some beautiful hand drawn lettering, Illustration and Typography. Fractured Anime   John Chae inspiration graphics

‘New Levels’ is an experimental collection of work by John Chae. Here Chae mixes surreal  Pop art techniques with anime visuals to create a real modern twist on Escher style. The Patternbank team love the fresh new aesthetic and fractured effects created in these mesmerizing artworks. Chae was born in Boulder, Colorado but grew up in Seoul, Korea. He studied painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art and after graduating moved to Brooklyn.
